Ed's Note

Leading Ideas, brought to you by Leading Architecture + Design, was conceptualised as a new way for us to serve a wider readership seeking insights about design, architecture, construction and renovation. While we usually concentrate our efforts on a highly targeted audience of architects, engineers and construction (AEC) professionals (as well as related design industry players), we realised there was a broader audience out there hungry for the kind of content that we normally reserve for professionals. There’s a whole world of home renovators, remodellers, home improvers and DIYers out there who would benefit enormously from the kind of news, advice and insight that the brands who appear in Leading Architecture + Design bring to our readers. So, a few years ago, we decided to test the waters. We designed a platform that would connect this audience with practical insights, useful information, sound advice, stimulating ideas and smart inspiration from the brands we serve. We partnered with our sister titles DIY News and Specifile and sent it out into the world. It was an instant success, so we’ve been producing a new edition twice a year ever since. This, our fourth, is presented on a new platform for an even better reader experience, delivering the valuable content we’ve partnered with the best brands in their respective categories to create with new levels of clarity and interest.
